The Challenge
For years, Louw, Genis and Rajoo had operated comfortably under the Generic Scorecard. With the introduction of the new Legal Sector Codes (LSC), the measurement framework shifted in ways that required fresh interpretation, new priority elements, updated weightings and a different approach to tracking compliance.
The firm assembled an internal committee and began developing an interim scorecard on its own. But as they worked through the details, it became clear that interpreting a New Code in isolation would not be enough.
